I'm a Student Engineer with a combined 4 months of valuable internship experience in project management, design and maintenance. Whilst employed I utilised my CAD skills obtained from University, as a student engineer. At Tasports I had the opportunity to work with a large array of industry professionals. Some examples of the work I completed included.• The detailed design of a new tug boat berth, the use of CAD packaging provided a detailed illustration into my design and made it easy to present. • I was involved in a large amount of general maintenance of both vessels and systems on board, a project I ran was the hull testing of a vessel that came out for survey. This experience provided me great opportunity to develop my professional communication skills.• A majority of my time at Tasports was completed on project management and networking, this provided me with great opportunity to meet an array of industry leaders in their craft. Through my studies at AMC I have taken a great liking towards the energy sector, I believe the world of offshore oil and gas not only provides great opportunity to develop long term but is a rewarding and exciting career path from day one. I am expected to graduate later this year (2024) and I get excited about the opportunities to travel, network and produce engineering solutions.
