Now that I am in my mid-forties, I realize what makes me successful as a business manager. Yes, I am confident in my intelligence, but that is not what sets me apart. What sets me apart is that I surround myself with great people and unleash their potential by creating a culture of caring and accountability. Simultaneously, I create a culture of caring by meeting people where they are, showing genuine care for their wellbeing and encouraging them to do the same with their teams.
