I am responsible for helping students improve their understanding and their grades. I use a variety of techniques, including guided questioning, problem walkthroughs, having students teach the concept back to me, etc. - to help students learn and retain difficult concepts. I also work with other tutors to develop strategies for more effective learning. Currently tutoring for the following courses: Econometrics, Introductory Statistics, Introductory Economics, and Philosophical Inquiry.

As a research assistant for the philosophy department, I work with faculty on current research in the field, specifically on the philosophy of Aristotle. Our work focuses on the Nicomachean Ethics, analyzing it and the subsequent literature to better understand the philosophical problems surrounding our failure to live our best lives. I also help gather sources for the literature review process, and edit papers for publication.

I was responsible for grading student assignments, leaving comments and corrections, and returning the finished assignments to the professor in a timely manner. Grader for the following courses: Ordinary Differential Equations, Applied Statistics.

Implemented a new testing framework for Google Assistant on wearable audio devices which recorded bluetooth transactions and replayed them to successfully emulate a device.Collaborated with other team members to create a step by step process for creating new tests and verifying them.Designed and began the expansion of the framework to BLE devices, such as smartwatches.The work was done primarily in Java with some Python scripts and internal tooling.

My primary project as a STEP Intern was the development of a travel planning app alongside two other interns. The app is intended for users looking to plan a trip, and who need the ability to manage the various events, flights, hotels, and other information in a single itinerary. The app also allows users to visualize their trip on a map, get suggestions on where to go, and optimize their schedule. The app was primarily developed in Javascript using the REACT framework along with the Material UI library with some HTML/CSS code. I also worked with several APIs to add functionality, including Firebase Cloud Storage, and the Google Maps Javascript API. I also collaborated with other interns, creating a guide to building and deploying a REACT app through AppEngine, used by more than 70 other interns and hosts.

As a technical writer for Launch That, I worked to develop and document standard operating procedures for teams in multiple departments, including marketing, software development, and content writing. In order to make the documentation more useful to current team members, and easy to find for new employees, I helped build a documentation hub that was easily navigable and updateable.

As a research assistant for the College of Business Administration, I work with faculty to analyze developing trends in the healthcare industry, focusing on the costs and effects of information technology. I use statistical software including SAS and STATA to clean, summarize and analyze data. I also work with faculty to help gather and source papers in the literature review process.
