Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Includes managers in specialized construction fields, such as carpentry or plumbing.

Vertical Engineer Company as part of an Engineer Battalion. Overall responsible for health, welfare, training & morale of a 156+ Soldiers. Plans, resources, and assesses collective training for the unit. Develops policies and procedures for the unit. Ensures unit is physically, mentally & emotionally prepared to conduct their wartime mission. Maintains accountability and operational readiness for different MTOE property valued at over $20 million.
