I have enjoyed working for A Plus Arts Academy the last three years. While here I have taught Social Studies for two years, taught Health to 9th graders and instructed and coordinated a college readiness program called AVID. I have experience lesson planning, developing behavior incentive programs and coordinating after school programs. My experience counseling has helped facilitate discussions with our students, teachers and parents on many different cultural and societal issues. I have created school wide schedules for 450 students and coordinated over 20 fields trips over the past three years both internationally and nationally. I believe my counseling techniques helps me when communicating and understanding issues occurring in the educational setting today.

I helped created a foundation named the Pauline Way Fund along with doing multiple fundraising for our non-profit organization. I organized tours for families to see the facility and answered any billing or staffing questions. I also created and maintained all Social Media pages including Facebook, Twitter and the website. Part of my job was to build community relations with the other organizations in downtown Delaware and help create a community based atmosphere at our facility by organizing family events where we partnered with other companies downtown.

I assisted first year students transitioning into their first year of college.
