Who am I?I am a father, husband, and web developer. I love board games, video games, and cinnamon rolls. I'm a dungeon master, deacon, and disciple of Jesus Christ.What have I done?During college I worked front-of-house a Chick-fil-A in Lubbock, TX, where I served others with a smile. In December of 2018 I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's of General Studies, with concentrations in mathematics, engineering, and history.After graduating, I sought work in student ministry and found the perfect fit as the Student Ministry Associate at First Baptist Church of Garland, TX. For a little more than 4 years I had the privilege to minister to middle and high school students and their parents while developing administrative skills.Although I loved enjoyed my at FBC Garland and I loved my job and the people there, I made the decision to go in a different direction. In the Spring of 2023 I began a career change that would better utilize and grow my affinity for computers and technology while also better providing for my family. After searching, I found CareerFoundry offered the most diverse and flexible certification courses that would help me in beginning a career in Web Development.What am I doing now?Since September of 2023 I have been blessed to serve as the Web Content Specialist at a faith-based non-profit organization: Texas Baptists. I have had the opportunity to serve them well, all the while developing my skills and knowledge as a full-stack web developer.
