Prior to my current position I served for six years in the United States Navy as Cryptologic Warfare Technician and served in a variety of roles spanning from network forensics at the Navy’s SOC, to policy and compliance audits onboard the Navy’s ballistic missile destroyers. I was also a contractor in the DoD space after my service. I have worked in various federal contracting roles consisting of Information Assurance analysis for the Navy’s submarine forces, as well as SOC analysis, Intelligence reporting, and Independent Verification and Validation of entities operating in DoD joint service environments. Among my greatest career accomplishments was my role in the development and certification of Navy Cyber Protection Teams and my role as the lead IPS/IDS signature developer and administrator at the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command.I have received my Bachelor of Science in Computer Networks and Cybersecurity from University of Maryland Global Campus. I am also wrapping up a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University. I currently possesses various cybersecurity industry certifications such as CySA+ and CEH, as well as other platform/OS certifications. Lastly, I also possesses an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security Clearance
