I am responsible for exercising a variety of strategies in order to recruit a high volume of talented and qualified substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and school support staff to work within Source4Teachers and MissionOne clients. The rapid growth and expansion of our business is causing a need for a new generation of recruitment staff ready to build out our substitute team. In order to maximize both the size and diversity of our substitute pool, I am required to create a strategic plan and manage a team to execute recruitment campaigns for my region. It is my responsibility to cultivate high-potential candidates within my region; develop and implement a marketing plan; and build relationships with district staff, families, and community members.

I am responsible for scheduling and attending events at schools, churches, and conferences with the goal of promoting Cairn University. I am also responsible for networking with local pastors, youth leaders, and and school administrators with the intention of promoting the University and building long-term relationships with these organizations.

As a presidential intern at Cairn University, I was handpicked among my peers to work for the school in a full-time capacity with the benefits of an intern. I was placed in the recruitment department where I am responsible for scheduling and attending events at schools, churches, and conferences with the goal of promoting Cairn University. I am also responsible for networking with local pastors and youth leaders with the intention of promoting the University and building long-term relationships with these churches. In addition to my day-to-day responsibilities I am also required to work on my Graduate degree as well as attend meetings with the President and administration at Cairn University.

As a partner at Starbucks I have quickly taken to the responsibilities given to me. This includes learning the recipes, making drinks in a timely manner, connecting with customers, maintaining a clean workplace, and taking customer orders. Working at Starbucks has helped me to develop my ability to multitask, adapt, and still sustain a connection with the customer despite a hectic and fast-paced environment.

While Interning at Living Hope Community Church I worked alongside the Senior Pastor to develop a healthy youth ministry. The church had an underdeveloped program at the start of my Internship. Throughout my internship I had to work with the board of Elders, Parents, and Pastoral staff to develop and implement a program, which could be handed off at the completion of my time there. The volunteer staff members were provided training and discipleship, the parents were incorporated into the mission and vision of the ministry, and the Elders and Pastoral staff were provided clear documentation for the continuation of the ministry.

While working at The Home Depot I was more empowered to serve customers more effectively which allowed me to better develop my people skills and sales skills. I also learned to operate heavy machinery in a safe yet effective manner.

I began working as a student leader at south ridge and over the years have learned a great deal about how to manage a youth ministry as well as teach in a small or large group environment. My Youth pastor has provided me with ample freedom and opportunity to develop my teaching style in a personal way. Having already exercised my natural communication style with students I have recently been working on being more outgoing in connecting with students in ways that don't necessarily come naturally to me. The experience has helped to prepare me to lead my own youth ministry.

While working at Nike I learned more about sales and advertising while also better developing my people skills with other employees as well as customers.

While working at Americanplace Movies I was challenged to develop skills for each area of the workplace. These skills were primarily people-oriented but I also learned how to use and maintain the concessions as well as maintaining theaters and basic filmworking skills.
