My professional career up to this point has been dedicated to the IT industry. This I credit with my father’s influence and a hand me down IBM XT. After bringing it home from his employment because they didn’t want it, he handed me a DOS 3 book and said “If you can make it work, you can have it.” That act and the fervor to have a working computer as a child set the foundation for the interests I hold today.I have many facets of Information Technology experience including working in Technical Support, Network Administration, Network Installation, Software Development, and Data Analytics. Seeing several aspects of IT has made me a more well-rounded professional, allowing me to consider the different points of view related to IT projects. I enjoy learning, having been raised in a family of educators.As of May 2021, a have added an MBA with a Cybersecurity Management certificate, being a means towards the goal of becoming an IT Executive in a strategic decision-making role. The industry itself is constantly shifting and presents an opportunity to remain mentally agile and progressive, both of which are traits I apply to myself.
