I aim to be part of a team and company that understands the impact we can make and to use my problem solving and communication skills, leadership capabilities, and educational background to contribute to my company and further my knowledge and skills in the industry.As a recent graduate in computer science, I have learned and continue to pursue the latestin industry trends. Through my time at SNHU I have learned the basics of agile development as well as learning to build full stack applications. I learned to use RESTful APIs to build interfaces that interact with MongoDB using a variety of languages including Java, JavaScript, C++ and Python. This culminated in building a dynamic full stack web application using a MEAN stack and then learing how to move a full stack application to the cloud using Docker and AWS. My last 8 years of experience at Walmart have taught me how to be a leader. I have learned how to work as a team whther that be leading a team or being a team member. Learning the importance of fullfilling your duties within a team has been rewarding but not as much as Building team members into leaders themselves. Working in such a customer oriented compnay has given me insite into the importance of delivering for the customers needs.With the knowledge I have gained through SNHU and my leadership experience at Walmart, I am confident I will be a strong player in any Software Engineering team.
