Building the next generation of new rail cars for the Chicago Transit Authority, the 7000 series. Delivered 130+ cars for revenue service, responsible for organizing modifications, overhauls and work orders between CRRC, CTA and vendors. Working on delivery of 846 rail cars over the next 10 years of the contract. Acted as liaison between the organizations to assure meeting of all targets and deliverables. Managed a team of electrical and mechanical field engineers and technicians to provide troubleshooting and repairs of rail cars during testing and warranty periods. Established project schedules, work flow and reporting updates on deliverables. Identified problems and crafted solutions with the support of both on-site and remote engineers. Responsible for rail safety and compliance of staff and vendors while also monitoring data and tracking completed work. Helped with inventory management and securing replacement parts when needed.

Responsible for driving sales within the auto parts industry for top quality struts, shocks, brake components and related replacement parts through national wholesale, retail, service and e-commerce channels. Developed technical training presentations and conducted classroom demonstrations. A team leader who partnered with customer’s sales staff to expand product knowledge and boost retail as well as commercial business. Continually cultivated relationships with key decision makers at various levels to grow customer base. Worked with major retailers as well as metropolitan and rural dealers, service centers and repair shops. This included all of the United States as well as Puerto Rico. Duties required outside travel approximately 75% of the time.

Increased mobile phone, consumer electronics and software sales by managing accounts, assessing needs and providing solutions throughout the United States. Launched and continually developed national sales and technical training initiatives. This included regular on-site visits to update knowledge on the latest technology coupled with associated showcased marketing efforts to drive sales. Worked with retail managers, as well as business-to-business development managers and staff including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. Additionally, helped staff our Samsung Mobile trade show booth at the Consumer Electronics Show, the CTIA trade show, and the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Planned, scheduled and conducted training sessions for sales representatives in the greater Midwest. Also managed product launch events and numerous in-store product demonstrations. Additional responsibilities included developing relationships and improving sales in various channels of influence. This included wholesale, retail, direct corporate accounts as well as indirect non-corporate accounts. Responsible for product demonstrations and generating customer leads.

Responsible for training and motivating all telecommunications store staff to sell and recommend our products throughout Illinois, Missouri and Wisconsin. Set up and conducted in-depth training sessions, sales promotions and employee contests. Other duties included collecting and analyzing current target market information to increase sales and oversee the merchandising team.

Traveled within China to major cities in preparation for a nationwide rollout of our product line. Responsible for the comprehensive training of over 300 sales representatives. Worked with the Chinese National Sales Director, supervisors, managers and staff to create a culturally appropriate training program with an in-depth related performance tracking database system. Also helped develop additional training and sales materials plus associated in-store displays to be used nationwide.
