About Zachary Ginsberg, Md, Mpp

Health care operations, quality improvement and innovation expert, I have been an internal consultant at Shock Trauma, Kettering Health Network and Duke University. Over the last 10 years I have led inter-professional teams to create solutions to complex problems resulting in annual $8M savings opportunities for the state of Maryland and 90% reduction in under triage of trauma patients in an 80k annual volume emergency department. I led the legislative strategy for medical groups at the state and national level and authored new standards and policies for prehospital-ED-ICU care at the national level. With over a decade of award-winning experience addressing operational, regulatory, legal and ethical matters relating to high acuity/risk healthcare, I have formal training in public policy at Harvard, public health at Brown, and quality improvement at the Institute for Health Improvement (IHI). I oversaw the launch of our COVID response for my 14-hospital network and co-authored the plan submitted to the Governor of Ohio. I was a partner in a multi-disciplinary group that staffed 6 hospitals with >$25M annual revenue. I sat on a national taskforce as an expert and now sit on the advisory board of a global social enterprise with a $500M development portfolio across 17 states and 35 initiatives in India.
