On the B2C side, I worked with stakeholders to help define our annual campaign calendar, and target the types of content we needed to push the campaigns throughout the year. Ultimately my work contributed to naming product lines, writing copy, blogs, and videos, and writing emails. We also launched a new responsive web design, which I contributed to the overall merchandising of during the design and development process.On the B2B side I was national key accounts manager during an unexpected time of transition for the company. I worked with key retailers such as REI, Amazon, and Backcountry.com on seasonal line presentations, special make ups, sell in strategy, MDF contributions, and organized trade show representation. Product Manager For Apparel And FootwearPerformance Bicycle Jun 2014 - Aug 2017Chico, California, UsIn this role I oversaw a $30M business across multiple categories, planned, developed, and grew the Performance line of men's and women's cycling apparel, selected branded retail and direct assortments to complement our private label brand, and drove sales and promotions in all channels of the business. During this time I witnessed first hand the shift to digital eCommerce marketplaces and boutique internet brands that have defined our space today.This was by far one of the best jobs I've ever had from a professional development stance. This role did the work of a 4P category manager, retail buyer, and house branded apparel product manager who had a hand in the design and development of our private label brand. I owned the apparel and footwear product lifecycle through all stages and was able to work with some of the best brands in the cycling space. I had one direct report, and provided direction to our design, development, marketing, planning, distribution, and retail sales/merchandising teams across Performance Bicycle's 100+ specialty retail locations, as well as an expanded online ecommerce business.I was able to "defend and extend" our apparel business at the time. We covered the bread winning categories while expanding into women's specific, footwear, athleisure, and urban cycling categories. Our team was able to drive strong gains in sales during a challenging time where the rest of the industry was stagnant. My strong sense of direction and new approach on the cycling industry ultimately landed our products in nationwide buyer's guides, cycling guides, YouTube channels, and even on a super bowl commercial, which then led me to another role on our Marketing team. -
