My contributions were pivotal in enhancing efficiency and functionality across multiple fronts. I engineered intuitive robot interfaces, integrating them with our software ecosystem. Additionally, I led the migration of critical robot motion planning processes from the robot platforms to our software, optimizing operational workflows. Notably, I played a key role in the conceptualization and realization of a cutting-edge gripper technology, revolutionizing package handling by activating only essential components, a breakthrough in precision and resource utilization. Using a diverse toolkit including C++, ROS, Python, ABB Rapid, and Fanuc Karel, I delivered tangible results that pushed the boundaries of technological advancement.

As an R&D Developer at Lincoln Electric, I led the charge in exploring and crafting innovative solutions to propel the company forward. Leveraging my years of industry expertise, I led the investigation and development of cutting-edge products that addressed evolving market demands. Among the notable breakthroughs were advancements in automated path programming, the introduction of a groundbreaking collaborative welding robot platform, and the creation of tools aimed at streamlining the intricacies of robot programming.

In this role I was in charge of creating project specific software including IO, kinematic parameters, system parameters, as well as any custom software needed to accomplish the customers task. As a heavy welding integrator, this consisted of custom preheat, scanning, searching, and tracking software.

As project engineers at Wolf Robotics, our responsibilities encompassed creating digital twins, offline programming, configuring the real system, conducting functional runoff tests for all system components, and traveling to customer sites to oversee customer runoff and obtain customer approval.

Design, build, and test custom software used to meet the needs of users and clients. Software is primarily web based and ranges from simple websites to complex database driven applications.

Designed an Excel database and completed initial feasibility studies for Terra Nova’s Zip Rider. Compiled reports and collaborated with companies interested in Zip Rider installation. Utilized Pro-Engineer to design custom Zip Rider components. Oversaw installation of the Zip Rider at Bromley Mountain, Peru, VT.
