As a bit of an unorthodox approach to spending my summers between years of college, I decided to work at a summer camp instead of pursuing an internship for the first two summers I had. My thought was that, although I am learning all of the technical skills I will need in the workforce through my studies, in order to round out my skillset much more, I need to have a place to hone those soft skills such as effective leadership, time management, and communication.
