Project types include small retail, housing, educational, and senior living facilities. I have been involved through all phases of design and construction working as Project Manager for many small retail projects and have assisted others within the firm in varying capacities. Tasks normally include modeling a design in Sketchup and creating preliminary CAD plans & elevations for SD & DD phases, taking that design through full construction documents, working with city agencies to bring the project through approval processes, and guiding projects through completion through construction administration. Meeting deadlines for sign-offs, TCOs and COs, and property sales constantly put pressure on me to work efficiently and quickly. This position also entailed performing extensive research of various NYC codes and laws, and obtaining miscellaneous permits.
