About Zach Graves

Hi, I'm Zach Graves! I am a senior Honors College student at Kent State University majoring in political science with a concentration in public policy and minoring in pre-law. On my college campus, I am the Director of Governmental Affairs in Undergraduate Student Government (USG), the Co-Chair of the Kent State Votes Coalition, and a member of the Kent State Leadership Center's 2024-2025 cohort of Flash Fellows. During the summer of 2024, I was an Intern with the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Legislative Affairs. As an ambitious, responsible student leader at Kent State University, I have immersed myself in change-making efforts on my campus. I have experience in planning and facilitating educational panels and workshops, taking part in student advocacy as a member of student government, and collaborating with others to spearhead voter engagement efforts at Kent State. Each of these experiences has allowed me to consistently learn and grow academically, personally, and professionally. After graduating from Kent State University, I plan on taking a gap year to gain additional experience in my field of interest before pursuing my JD. I aspire to work in law and government.
