Technical Projects (Can be found in "Projects" section of my LinkedIn page)- Blueberry Express An amazing team and I were given a prompt. The stakeholder wanted to connect those who want to learn a language to those who can teach. Over the course of about one week, the team and I built wireframes detailing how the website should look, planned each and every component so as to avoid surprises when we get deeper in the process, and communicated with the stakeholder to make sure the product we provide met or exceeded any expectations. Over the course of a week, we built the front end out to the stakeholders specifications, the backend team provided the infrastructure for our components, and trello tickets were moved repeatedly. - BeatMatchDuring my time at hack reactor, we were given a project under extreme circumstances. We would have two days to build out a full application. Perhaps even more of an obstacle would be that we would have to work on the project alone. While the project did seem like a challenge, I was excited. I knew exactly what I wanted to build. For years, I have been working as a producer and the biggest obstacle I've faced was getting exposure. How do I get my music to the people that want to hear it? Well, my idea and my project would end up being Beat Match. I made the tough decision to use React Native, even though I had no experience with it, because my idea seemed to fit so much better on a smartphone screen. After designing iphone screens on figma, mapping out the components I would need, and watching a few React Native tutorials, I got to work. Now, the app allows the user to play music I've uploaded, swipe right if they like it, left if they don't, and save their liked tracks.
