Download now at http://vcnty.co/app There are essentially two walls, one is "My Vicinity"​ which is the main wall used to connect with people wherever you are; beach, concert, conference, neighborhood and the other wall is "Live Deals"​ for businesses who will post incentives and deals (i.e. "Come in for the next 2 hours for buy one get one drinks"​) that target people right outside their location. It's an app that allows users to figure out what to do, where to eat, etc. at that given instant. Some examples of use: 1) Using it at the beach: creating a post to get more people in on a volleyball game. 2) Using it at a conference: connect with everyone at the conference to collaborate or meet after for dinner/drinks. 3) Using it at home: connect with neighbors. 4) Using it in a new town: Open the app to see what's popular in your immediate area and see live deals from businesses nearby. Vicinity was created because we wanted people to be able to figure out what to do and we knew that checking websites with event calendars wouldn't be up to date, and we knew that checking Facebook would just show us what our friends are doing in our hometown. We wanted an app that had a Facebook-style wall, but was just for that city. We thought it would be a great idea for people to connect in real time and figure out what's going on at any given moment.
