Collaborated with client’s IT department to implement Docker-based process for deploying to on-premises infrastructure within a private network.- Local Tour Guide Startup, mobile application: Full stack development (React Native, Hapi, Objection, Postgres). Managed deployments via Expo and AWS CDK. Guided client through iOS and Android app store registration- Enterprise CRM, web application redesign: Frontend development (React, Redux). Updated legacy application (Angular, Python) to support cross-version authentication.- Water Utility Service, web application: Team Lead and backend development (Hapi, Objection, SQLite, AWS). Led a 3 person team in developing a data visualization application for pubic water utilities' performance data. Designed system for ingesting new data (published annually). Assisted client in preparing and cleaning data.- Clothing Design Startup, web application: Backend development (Hapi, Objection, Postgres, Puppeteer, AWS) and Project Manager. Integrated custom application for generating body contour images based on user-input measurements, created by a 3D rendering contractor, into a headless browser service (powered by Puppeteer) to performantly and securely generate said images.

I supported the development of web application projects in a variety of non-technical roles:- As the sole quality assurance staff on all active projects, I manually tested our websites and applications and reported results to development staff- As the community manager for small social art application, I built user engagement by designing a weekly newsletter, running contests (and mailing prizes), and interacting with community members- Project manager on several website projects: tracked budgets, inventoried content, and gathered requirements- Conducted usability tests following Steve Krug’s methodology in "Don’t Make Me Think."- Handled support calls from clients; started development career by implementing service requests instead of scheduling with development staff

Interviewed healthcare professionals, usually Chief Medical Information Officers, to use as sources in written work. Wrote articles for both the on-line and print versions of Healthcare IT News, employing both background research and interviews to form succinct and informative reports

Attended all wind ensemble rehearsals, arriving early to set up chairs and stands for players, copying music when necessary, and arranging past scores in the director's archive.

Bixler Library

Assisted patrons by retrieving books, CDs, and vinyl records from the shelves, checking out these items, and giving directions to other locations on campus, such as the art museum and lecture halls. Inventoried the entire library, thereby ensuring that our electronic record accurately reflects the items currently in and missing from the library.
