I've worked as a professional designer for 15+ years in the gaming industry with a background in traditional animation and an array of passionate pursuits.After art school, I began my professional career at a mobile gaming start-up called Javaground in 2006. I worked a variety of pre-smartphone mobile titles, the most noteworthy being God of War: Betrayal.In early 2008, I accepted a job at Blizzard Entertainment as an Associate Mobile UI Artist. During my time in that position, I was the singular designer responsible for the design, creation, and maintenance of apps like: • The World of Warcraft Mobile Armory on iOS and Android. which we updated with Guild Chat, the Auction House, an interactive 3D character viewer, and many more features.• The Battle.net Mobile Authenticator, adding 2-step verification and security to players' accounts I later accepted a position within Blizzard as a Web Designer, where's I've had a hand in a multitube of projects and touched all of Blizzard's IPs, including (some of my proudest):• PlayOverwatch.com• OverwatchLeague.com• Diablo4.com• Diablo2.comFebruary 19th of 2021 has marked my 13th year as a member of the Blizzard Entertainment family. It's been a lifelong goal and honor to walk the halls and work shoulder-to-shoulder with such amazingly talented individuals.On top of my day-to-day, I've been an avid cosplayer (especially at the BlizzCons), a painter, and I've worked hard as an advocate for diversity and inclusion both inside and out of Blizzard's walls. I help start a grassroots LGBT+ community at Blizzard and later accepted a position on Blizzard's LGBT+ Leadership network. Within that capacity, I've been a key player in initiatives like:• Painted multiple murals by hand, in both an official Blizzard capacity as well as personal commissions• Planning and coordinating internal LGBT+ campus celebration events• Helping raise over $55k for TheTrevorProject.com• Forming partnerships with external groups and companies with likeminded D&I goals I keep myself busy, I've got a proactive and engaging work ethic, and I'm detail oriented. In all that I do, my heart and mind march hand in hand to to reach the stars.
