• Find, manage, and orchestrate new strategic technology creation in support of future generation products. Focus on disruptive technologies, increased integration levels, step function cost reduction. • Manage the relationship between the external company (key supplier, partner, or start-up), and Nokia during research and development (R&D) assessment phase• Obtain and disseminate technology and business information from companies to key internal customers using a variety of methods/tools/processes• Negotiate agreements---NDAs, evaluation agreements, technology development agreements • Provide strategic analysis of new technology and external developers for corporate merger and acquisition assessments• Technology responsibility areas:---- RF (power amplifiers, antennas, switches, MEMS components, transceivers)---- Energy management (batteries, fuel cells, solar, energy harvesting)---- Complimentary Wireless (Bluetooth, WLAN, UWB, FM, GPS, WiMAX, NFC)

• Program Manager for multiple concurrent internal RF component development programs• Provide competitor intelligence information for RF components to Sales and Marketing• Participate in and coordinate strategy/steering group activities for future product development• Support development engineering in creation of application notes and product datasheets

• Project management support for external customer foundry programs• Manage several concurrent projects with budgets in excess of $1 million each • Coordinate, execute, and teach foundry services training courses

- Design and develop gallium arsenide (GaAs) monolithic microwave integrated components- Prepare applications information and device datasheets
