AchievementsThe Chancellor’s Doctoral Research Medalist Recipient of four research and travel scholarships during PhD Successfully accomplished research projects to ‘Improve performance of free-range laying hens”. Multicultural interaction as a full-time student at University of New England (enrolled students representing 90 different countries), and as an exchange student at Freie University of Berlin, Germany.Actively engaged in concurrent projects, namely ‘Insect feeding for free-range layers’, ‘Practical implications of A. galli infection in free-range layers’ and ‘Nutritional management in free-range layers’.Planned and executed three trials (two of which were on commercial facilities), including trial design, feed formulation and mixing, animal supervision and sampling, and respective laboratory analyses.
