Key responsibilities include undertaking detailed due diligence on credit proposals for large project & corporate finance transactions, mid-level corporates, SMEs, financial institutions and microfinance clients. Conduct extensive credit risk assessments and prepare reports with recommendations covering the credit risk profile of customers within the prescribed lending guidelines and policies of the bank. Handle risk in markets with diverse regulatory and cultural environments. Risk assessment areas include alternate energy (wind & solar), waste water treatment plants, transportation, irrigation and FIs. Additional responsibilities include adherence to risk framework & country limit, appetite, tolerance, industry analysis, risk rating, polcy, portfolio, appraisals, approvals etc. Established the credit risk and financial analysis departments in the bank, developed credit risk rating models for assigning credit scores to customers, formulated templates and methodologies for evaluating credit proposals, implemented stress testing and prepared methodologies for undertaking risk asset review of the credit portfolio and established guidelines for preparing credit reports. Have a direct working relationship with CEO & BOD.

Handled a diversified credit portfolio comprising of corporate and commercial customers, reviewed credit proposals, prepared credit notes, highlighted risks and proposed covenants to mitigate the identified risk.
