Consulting with up to 30 outpatients per day between the ages of 7 to 83 years of age, and up to 15 inpatients per day. Actively listening to patient’s health concerns, recording patient history & consulting patient records, conducting medical examinations, and ordering further laboratory testing and investigations- Working as part of a team of 3 Doctors to deliver care and treatment in the Critical Care and Internal Medicine Departments- Conducting medical procedures from inserting foley’s catheters, intravenous (IV) cannulas and nasal gastric tubes, and dressing wounds and suturing, to full cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)- Conducting ward rounds with senior consultants to deliver treatment for complex patients. Developing management plans for critical care and liaising with allied health professionals to coordinate effective multi- faceted treatment.- Providing emergency treatment for stroke, cardiac arrest, MI, acute asthma, copd, arrythmias, RTA etc- Devising discharge forms.

The Aqsa Care Center provides a variety of medical consultation services. In this role, I work as an outpatient General Practitioner. This includes up to 40 patient consultations per day, medical examinations, medical investigation and diagnoses, preparing referrals and letters to other health professionals, prescribing medications and conducting medical procedures.

I work in Hospital Admissions and provide medical care to inpatients, as well as in the Dermatology Outpatient Department. I demonstrate advanced medical expertise, and evaluate and treat up to 8 inpatients per day with acute illnesses.

In this role, I led a team of 9 staff in the Emergency Department (ED), provided urgent medical care to patients and conducted ward rounds. I treated critically ill patients and assessed the health status of patients presenting to ED, as well as carried out admission procedures.

In this locum role in a regional hospital, I led a team of 8 staff members, including nurses, ward staff and a pharmacist. I assessed inpatients during ward rounds and delivered urgent medical treatment.

In this role, I worked in all departments of the Hospital including Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radiology and Dermatology. I worked on COVID-19 wards on multiple occasions, assisting with rounds, monitoring the condition of patients, as well as consulting with patients regarding medication & symptoms.
