Throughout my years working in a multitude of different areas, from School Clubs to Hospitals to, now, a top-tier Law Firm, I have learned the similarities and differences in many different fields. Because of this, I am able to optimize my approaches based off of what I know works, allowing me to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Although I aspire to be a lawyer, I am always open to any experiences or opportunities that may present themselves to me, and I am always looking for new areas to learn about.Over the summer following my Junior Year, I was given the privilege to serve as the Youngest Intern in Firm History at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, an Amlaw 100 Named firm serving global clients such as Blackstone and J.P. Morgan. I served with multiple different departments, MCO, KM, and the Library, learning an immense amount about what it takes to run a massive firm like Simpson Thacher. During my time, I compiled and updated data for thousands of users with the Library Department, Updated and Ensured the accuracy of an Invitee List containing over a thousand of the top legal professionals in the world with KM, and helped docket and research with the MCO Department. Because of this, I was able to use my time at the firm to further broaden my mind, learning and understanding not just how one aspect of a Law Firm works, but how all of the different parts are able to come together and create one of the largest and most successful Law Firms in the World. Since then, I have developed a continuing relationship with the firm, returning after my senior year and continuing as a part-time college intern.Through my Non-Profit work, I have developed a passion for serving the communities around me, working with Aim to Aid to help educate and assist the large, and growing, immigrant population of Greater Houston, and providing low-to-no cost access to legal opportunities and education through my work with my own Non-profit, Law in Action 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(2).
