I am a Software Engineer with a dual degree in Mechatronics Systems Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario. My passion lies in understanding and working across the full spectrum of engineering systems, from hardware to software, as I believe a holistic view enables me to work more efficiently and effectively on each individual component.With several years of experience in frontend development, I have worked extensively with ReactJS and Tailwind CSS, building responsive, dynamic user interfaces. Transitioning into backend development, I have gained proficiency in building robust APIs using FastAPI and Node.js/Express, adhering to RESTful principles. I also have extensive experience working with databases such as MySQL and GraphQL, designing optimized schemas that support efficient queries and mutations.In addition to full-stack development, I have hands-on experience managing infrastructure and deploying applications on cloud platforms like Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and smooth code deployment.I thrive on solving complex engineering problems through code, particularly in the realm of data—whether it's gathered through sensors or analyzed using machine learning. Data is, in my view, the key that transforms observations into actionable insights. I am most motivated when I can continuously learn and apply new skills to create meaningful, impactful solutions.Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, philosophy, and psychology, and I stay up to date with emerging technologies.
