From the past 15+ years, I have been working on different Program Management positions starting from grass root level to senior management in National & International humanitarian and development organizations. The KP Deworming Initiative was launched in 2018 with the establishment of a Multi-Sectoral Steering Committee at the provincial level, led by the Health Department, KP. The District Management Committees (DMCs) have been formed in all 22 at-risk districts in the 4 divisions of KP, namely, Peshawar, Mardan, Hazara, and Malakand divisions, to facilitate program implementation at the district level.The Multi-Sectoral Steering Committee is chaired by Special Secretary (B&D) Health, Health Department KP with the representation from Elementary & Secondary Education Department, Planning & Development Department, Local Government & Rural Development Department, and Private Schools Regulatory Authority (PSRA). Elementary & Secondary Education Foundation, and Afghan Refugees Commissionerate, of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also engaged to extend outreach to school-age children in Deeni Madaris and those outside of formal education. At the district level, the DMCs are chaired by Deputy Commissioner with the representation of DHO, DEOs (Male/Female), PSRA, Assistant Director (Local Government & Rural Development), District Social Welfare Officer District Emergency Officer (Rescue 1122), and Members of Private Education Network.To date, KP Government has allocated PKR 6 million for the program under the “New Integrated Health Project PC-I Integration of Health Services Delivery with Special Focus on MNCH, LHW and Nutrition Program” 2020-23 -
National Programme Coordinator And Regional Manager Kp OfficeShirkat Gah Pakistan Jun 2016 - May 2021PeshawarWomen Acting For Change (WAC) empowered women in 2 districts of each province with new knowledge on rights & services related to family law, VAW/G & SRHR; with leadership skills e.g. advocacy, communication & negotiation; allies from amongst community men, media, lawyers/other service providers, duty-bearers, & support mechanisms in the form of Women Friendly Spaces (WFS), multi-stakeholder forums (Local Support Groups) & Purple Women leaders , to claim rights & promote good governance & gender equality; it has created a policy & community environment conducive for gender equality. WAC directly reached 70,000 people, at least 70% women; 200 media personnel & duty bearers, 50 women legislators & reach 20 million in mass messaging. It engaged federal & provincial human rights/women’s commissions, as well as UN and national gender review processes. Friendly Spaces established in all 4 provinces for 20,000 women assisted to obtain CNICs and register as voters, preconditions for democratic participation and accessing schemes and policies. Towards eliminating VAWG, WAC also run Violence-Free Family campaigns, obtaining pledges and certifying 1000 families by the end of project. Local leaders take direct actions for women’s empowerment & rights. Community women leaders had run public hearings as a means of community accountability and prepare and table a Charter of Women’s Demands before policy-makers and implementers. WAC took narrow the State-citizen gap through district level multi-stakeholder forums bringing women citizens together with elected & executive duty-bearers and service providers; engage with legislators and build capacity of 50 women legislators on Pakistan’s obligations, especially under CEDAW and SDGs 3, 5 & 16; run campaigns on key issues, provide inputs into policy and laws, and produce relevant IECS for these. 100 media personnel were gender-sensitized for better reporting on women’s issues and 100 duty bearers to provide more responsive services.

NET provides support to GBV survivors through provision of safe shelter, legal aid, medical aid, psychosocial counselling, rehabilitation and social re-integration. GBV response program included three sub-programs, prevention, response and advocacy in order to be most effective. As M & E Research Officer will perform the following functions:1. Develop formats for assessment and evaluation of project activities.2. Undertake field visits to monitor implementation of planned activities.3. Provide support in overall planning of the activities towards the achievement of the overall project objectives as laid down in the Logical Framework. 4. Help revise the project logical framework matrix, particularly in the areas of the objective hierarchy, indicators and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms5. Develop an overall M&E framework, for example, annual project reviews, impact assessments, operations monitoring and lesson learnt.6.
