The Pakistan Deworming Initiative (PDI) is a multi-sectoral program led by the Ministry of Planning Development & Special Initiatives, Ministry Federal Education & Professional Trainings, and Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination in collaboration with provincial health, education, and planning & development departments. The KP Deworming Initiative was launched in 2018 with the establishment of a Multi-Sectoral Steering Committee at the provincial level, led by the Health Department, KP. The District Management Committees (DMCs) have been formed in all 22 at-risk districts in the 4 divisions of KP, namely, Peshawar, Mardan, Hazara, and Malakand divisions, to facilitate program implementation at the district level.The Multi-Sectoral Steering Committee is chaired by Special Secretary (B&D) Health, Health Department KP with the representation from Elementary & Secondary Education Department, Planning & Development Department, Local Government & Rural Development Department, and Private Schools Regulatory Authority (PSRA). Elementary & Secondary Education Foundation, and Afghan Refugees Commissionerate, of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also engaged to extend outreach to school-age children in Deeni Madaris and those outside of formal education. At the district level, the DMCs are chaired by Deputy Commissioner with the representation of DHO, DEOs (Male/Female), PSRA, Assistant Director (Local Government & Rural Development), District Social Welfare Officer District Emergency Officer (Rescue 1122), and Members of Private Education Network.To date, KP Government has allocated PKR 6 million for the program under the “New Integrated Health Project PC-I Integration of Health Services Delivery with Special Focus on MNCH, LHW and Nutrition Program” 2020-23

Women Acting For Change (WAC) empowered women in 2 districts of each province with new knowledge on rights & services related to family law, VAW/G & SRHR; with leadership skills e.g. advocacy, communication & negotiation; allies from amongst community men, media, lawyers/other service providers, duty-bearers, & support mechanisms in the form of Women Friendly Spaces (WFS), multi-stakeholder forums (Local Support Groups) & Purple Women leaders , to claim rights & promote good governance & gender equality; it has created a policy & community environment conducive for gender equality. WAC directly reached 70,000 people, at least 70% women; 200 media personnel & duty bearers, 50 women legislators & reach 20 million in mass messaging. It engaged federal & provincial human rights/women’s commissions, as well as UN and national gender review processes. Friendly Spaces established in all 4 provinces for 20,000 women assisted to obtain CNICs and register as voters, preconditions for democratic participation and accessing schemes and policies. Towards eliminating VAWG, WAC also run Violence-Free Family campaigns, obtaining pledges and certifying 1000 families by the end of project. Local leaders take direct actions for women’s empowerment & rights. Community women leaders had run public hearings as a means of community accountability and prepare and table a Charter of Women’s Demands before policy-makers and implementers. WAC took narrow the State-citizen gap through district level multi-stakeholder forums bringing women citizens together with elected & executive duty-bearers and service providers; engage with legislators and build capacity of 50 women legislators on Pakistan’s obligations, especially under CEDAW and SDGs 3, 5 & 16; run campaigns on key issues, provide inputs into policy and laws, and produce relevant IECS for these. 100 media personnel were gender-sensitized for better reporting on women’s issues and 100 duty bearers to provide more responsive services.

The Noor Education Trust (NET) is a non-governmental, non-profit charitable Trust, working for the protection of women and children since 2003 under Private/Public Trust act 1881. It supports and provides protection to women and child survivors of violence, namely, physical, sexual, emotional or psychological. NET provides support to GBV survivors through provision of safe shelter, legal aid, medical aid, psychosocial counselling, rehabilitation and social re-integration. GBV response program included three sub-programs, prevention, response and advocacy in order to be most effective. As M & E Research Officer will perform the following functions:1. Develop formats for assessment and evaluation of project activities.2. Undertake field visits to monitor implementation of planned activities.3. Provide support in overall planning of the activities towards the achievement of the overall project objectives as laid down in the Logical Framework. 4. Help revise the project logical framework matrix, particularly in the areas of the objective hierarchy, indicators and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms5. Develop an overall M&E framework, for example, annual project reviews, impact assessments, operations monitoring and lesson learnt.6. The Early Child hood Education trainer, with the guidance and support of the Project Coordinator, is responsible for developing and implementing a training program for CPLC (Child Protection Learning Centers) facilitators, parents, care givers, teachers, child protection committees, village organizations, PTCs and for children. The training components met the emotional, physical, cognitive and social needs of both the individual child and the group, keeping in view World Vision mission and principles. Undertake training need assessment of CPLC facilitators ,parents, teachers, PTC/SMC members and other stakeholders Design training material/manuals and conduct trainings in close coordination with project coordinator. Design and implement training follow up mechanism and ensure need based support and guidance to the CPLC facilitators.  Work closely with CPLC facilitators, education officers and child protection officers to provide a warm, safe, and caring environment in schools and CPLCs that is kept orderly, clean and appealing to allow the child to grow and to explore. Develop low/no cost activities for teaching by involving children, CPLC facilitators, teachers and PTC members. Write training reports according to the project and donor requirements. Maintain on-going records for children in CPLCs, including keeping records of all developing skills (physical, social, emotional, and cognitive). Produce success stories/case studies and share with communication & advocacy section through concerned supervisor Orient the concerned beneficiaries on project goal, objectives and targetMaintain updated record of concerned activities. Contribute in short/long term plans, conducting need assessments and developing concept notes. Submit monthly, weekly and daily work plan to the concern supervisor on regular basis.

Hired as Program Officer- KPK for 3 months and later promoted as Senior Program Officer- KPK for Relief & Recovery projects in Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera and Kala Dhaka. These projects are based on relief and recovery of communities for WASH, Agriculture and Adult Literacy Education Projects. Major responsibilities are to provide support in planning and monitoring of projects, budgeting and visioning the overall empowerment of communities as per PAI mandate. Coordination at cluster and networking meetings with NGO/INGO, line departments and local authorities. Identification of need base priority project designing for recovery phase and reviews of relief projects with communities. Support PAI relief and recovery work in Southern Punjab for Rajanpur District. Worked for 3+ years as Program Manager for Vehari, Southern Punjab, Pakistan in one of the best National organization in partnership of Plan International.RASTI is the Implementing partner of Plan International in District Vehari,Chakwal and Mansehra. Leading a team of 25 professional staff and 5 co-partners of Plan International major responsibility includes day-to-day operational management of RASTI program in (a) Child to Child Health Program (b) Early Childhood Care & Development (ECCD) Program(c) De worming (d) School Eye Health Program (e) Primary Health Care (PHC) I served as program manager and performed duties like,Strategic Leadership Oversee all areas of programming in the Organization. Serve as a member of the Senior Management Team. Work with senior management to contribute to strategic planning process. Provide leadership and support to all programs in the Targeted Area. Contribute analytical skills in Country Strategic Plan of RASTI. Support feedback and analytical skills in designing of Plan Pakistan Country Strategic Plan (CSP IV) Programming Ensure that all projects in the province are implemented in a timely, responsible and professional manner. Supervise projects activities and ensure quality and timely completion according to budget through the Program field staff.Ensure RASTI project goals, strategic plan and objectives compliment the Program Framework and ensure implementation follows core programming principles. Ensure program/staff adherence to the NGO Code of Conduct. Ensure beneficiary accountability is included in project implementation. Contribute to the preparation of proposals, budgets, and presentations. Review and approve all new program budgets and narrative. Monitor budget allocations and expenditures to ensure sound management and compliance with RASTI and donors’ financial requirements and policies.Team Leadership Support the capacity building of teams as needed.

Initially hired as ECCD focal person in RASTI & Plan Pakistan in Vehari unit. After eight months performance promoted to the post of Program Manager for ECCD program of RASTI Pakistan in Vehari.  Under this program 3 to 5 years of children given special attention and care in the communities for holistic development of children and improved behavior of parents for the up grooming of the child in safe and child friendly environment at family and school level. 52 ECCD centers were running under this concept and registered 1500 children in all centers. Capacitate Parents and Care Givers & Govt. Teachers for joyful learning skills and benefits.
