In my role at Open Climate Fix, I integrate and aid in the development of advanced forecasting tools, blending machine learning with the latest weather forecasting technologies. My work bridges the gap between national grid operators, energy traders, and the latest research in AI, utilising vast datasets to enhance energy system efficiency and predictability for bespoke and generic use cases.Being open-source all our code is available on Github as well as numerous datasets and model weights on Hugging Face and Google Datasets. At the heart of my work is a drive to combat climate change by optimising energy use and cutting carbon emissions. This mission not only taps into my technical expertise but also aligns with my vision for a sustainable future, making every challenge an opportunity for meaningful impact.

Explored open questions in epidemiology, machine learning, genetics, neuroscience, and neurobiology, addressing those questions through the use of state-of-the-art techniques for analysing and modelling large data sets.Using techniques such as: Image analysis (segmentation), time series processing (autocorrelation, classification, etc.), dimension reduction (linear PCA, nonlinear UMAP), classical statistical tests for data comparison and cluster methods (k-means, hierarchical clustering, classification from neural networks).Conducted a research project to clean, organise, represent, and perform advanced statistical analysis on thousands of optical tweezers force curves to validate a proposed theoretical model. This was to help establish a better model for how membrane proteins interact with the cytoskeleton in the frame of the immune synapse. This work was then presented to 30 people.

My internship at Science Creates Ventures, a deep tech VC fund in Bristol, immersed me in the venture capital world, focusing on evaluating scientific startups. With a background in physics, I applied my expertise to analyze the technical viability and market potential of new ventures, contributing to deal evaluations and the fund's investment process. My role encompassed a broad range of responsibilities, from participating in company pitches and creating press articles to analysing Pitchbook and enhancing deal sourcing methods.A standout project involved a comprehensive analysis of a space technology startup, evaluating its technology, intellectual property, market size, future financial requirements, and competition. This experience allowed me to utilise my scientific knowledge in a practical setting and to engage in strategic discussions with the company's founders and SCVCs senior partners.

I co-founded a phone repair company replacing screens, batteries and printed circuit boards, targeting students within universities. To do this I have created advertising campaigns, interviewed and recruited several employees, negotiated with suppliers and coded an advanced chatbot to handle customer enquires and book appointments.In developing the business, I attended numerous start-up networking events meeting with entrepreneurs and VC funds. I also won the Bristol New Enterprise Start-Up Competition which involved creating a business plan, pitching to investors and financial models.

During an internship at Unit DX, I worked alongside the COO where I incorporated an automated pipeline system in order to implement a new management infrastructure, as well as preparing the release of an accompanying app using the Nexudus co-working software. I continued this work as a tech consultant part-time during my studies.
