I write about Los Angeles-based law firms, their issues and achievements and how policy affects them for the Los Angeles Business Journal and San Fernando Valley Business Journal. I'm also happily writing about whatever comes my way from my editors.I previously was a city editor at Outlook News Group, primarily overseeing the Glendale News-Press and the South Pasadena Review. I also contributed stories to the other publications — the San Marino Tribune, the La Cañada Flintridge Outlook Valley Sun, the Pasadena Outlook and the Burbank Leader.Prior to Southern California, my time in Louisiana includes an investigation into a school board member that ultimately resulted in his removal from office; a series chronicling the multiple investigations into the in-custody death of a local black man arrested by the local sheriff's department; and coverage of a mass shooting tragedy that killed two local women.
