Zara is a gender professional with project management experience who thrives to make an impact, a dedicated and committed individual with staunch problem-solving skills. Zara hold a postgraduate degree in International Development with several years experience working with both indigenous grassroots communities and inter-governmental organisations to impact change within local and international organisation, as well as empowering those often marginalised and trapped in the cycle of poverty.Her background spans over 10 years working on several projects including planning; developing and conducting research including PEER study; Possesses skills and expertise in project management, policy analysis as well as managing relationships with local and international stakeholders. Currently, Zara is working as a Programme Officer on various projects with a focus on Poverty, Economics & sustainability.She has worked as a Consultant within the Government of Sierra Leone and the Private Sector to augment change through the implementation of the Local Content Policy. Her role includes heading the Communications Department to incorporate developing a Communications Strategy for the execution, coordinating media and public enhancement of the policy and working with both the public and private sectors.
