As a Networking Software Developer, my role is to design, develop, optimize and maintain production quality high performance packet processing protocol software components. I worked in the active development of following projects: - Mobile Data Filtering - Design of a DPDK base C application to filter traffic at 100Gbits/s. - Highly Dynamic flow table to handle more than 100k flows per second. - Find and co-relate mobile subscriber information and separate its data from traffic. - NUMA based NIC and Memory Mapping to take advantage of DMA and Buffers. - Testing and validation of DPDK based C app.- Voice Data Filtering - Separate out the voice data from IMS traffic - Extract subscriber and session information from the traffic and Filter out that SiP session. - DPDK based SIP parser to handle 20Gbits/s traffic.Technologies and tools learnt in the above mentioned Work are: - Used OpenFlow to push flows to OpenvSwitch DPDK for behavioral forwarding of traffic at 40Gbits/s. - Used RYU OpenFlow controller to push flows through python API. - NetFlow protocol configration on Dell Open Network Switches - Behavioral analysis of Traffic using NetFlow and creating dynamic flows and pushing to OvS. - Integration of Multi-lingual (C & Python) solution using IPC (Inter Process Communication). - Developed a DPDK Packet Buffer application for 40Gbits/s . - Used Intel's advanced Instructions AVX512 and SSE4 to achieve Burst processing in DPDK. - Developed a DPDK based application for MPLS Header Striping at 100Gbits/s. - Used Pkt-Gen DPDK for testing of applications at 40Gbits/s. - Automated Pkt-Gen with Lua Scripts for testing and validation. - Used Cisco T-Rex packet generator State-full packet generation.R&D for SDN Sollutions: - Virtual Broadband Network Gateway - Designed a plug-able architecture for the whole product on top of VPP. - Creating Design Flow and Validation of plugins.
