In this project title : Second Urban Governance and Infrastructure Project (UGIIP-II) under the Governance Improvement and Capacity Development (GICD) component in the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) I was supported to the Implementation Unit (PIU). I assist to the project to recruit human resource for specific technical expertise, such as community mobilizer, social services manager, urban planner, field staff, surveyor, etc. Also prepare to report and work under the guidance and supervision of the Team Leader LGED-Dhaka. Broadly, the project accounts section I assist the project finance development plan for the Tax collector officer in effective implementation of the project financial activities and provide support to the execution of financial services, procedures and processes. Precisely, I assisted to maintain the employer personnel HR salary slip, accounts realted information. I also monitoring project related financial activities. I am also responsible to ensuring full fulfillment with LGED’s on recruiting HR for the programme , budget reallocations and chart of accounts coding, accounting, policy interpretation, application of financial regulations and rules and other financial matters project rules and regulations of financial records and reports and audit follow-ups. To Implementation of the effective internal control framework and Monitoring of the municipal budget, follow up and monitoring on fund allocation and distribution which required under project guideline. To Proper control of the supporting documents for payments, preparation of all types of vouchers for project expenditures include vouchers are posted, charges to incorrect accounts are corrected, Purchase orders and requisitions are not excessively aged, petty cash is properly processed, staff advances are properly accounted for and collected upon, and programme budgets are not over allocated.
