Experienced EU funding specialist with more than 11 years of experience. By February 2022. I worked as Head of Department for Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI mechanism-urban development programmes) at Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds and my responsibilities were preparation of project tenders (Call for proposals), preparation of direct award/strategic projects with project beneficiaries and monitoring the implementation of urban development ITI-projects. I successfully led the preparation of more than 50 ITI-tenders (out of 68 in total) for urban public Transport, rehabilitation of Brownfield areas, Cultural heritage investments and Business support infrastructure and services, in value above 200 million euros in grants (more than 65% of total Croatian ITI allocation for 2014.-2020.).In tha last 2 years i have been involved in the programming of the new ITI mechanism within the Integrated Territorial Program (ITP) for 2021.-2027. period. I worked and contributed to the selection of program activities for the ITI, identification of investment sectors in urban areas, defining the indicators and planning the financial allocations. Also, I participated in defining the conditions and criteria for cities and urban areas for the preparation and implementation of ITI projects in 2021.-2027.In 2024., helping my MRDEUF colleagues as an advisory support for the preparation of specific '21-'27 ITI Calls in transport infrastructure and public transport, construction projects, cultural heritage, green projects and energy efficiency, improvement of selection criteria and quality assessment, doing the basic analysis of state aid, etc..I have a graduate degree in Economics (Business IT). I'm very good at mentoring, motivation and team leadership. I have a large experience in giving large audience presentations and tender information workshops for applicants. Worked closely with big State Aid names and experts in simplified cost methods (SCO). Intermediate knowledge of financial and economic analysis, with continuous improvement.Not an EU funds "expert" :)
