    Job Duties: Oversee & manager all aspects of the Resort’s financial operations, including the Finance, Purchasing, IT & Security Departments. Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts and cash flow projections. Prepare, in conjunction with the GM and Department Heads, annual Operating & Capex budgets. Liaise with MOHG and Ownership Group to resolve any questions, issues or concerns that arise relating to the Resort’s financial statement. Maintain all contracts and agreements entered into by the Resort and/or Ownership Group. Ensure compliance with Corporate Internal Control polices Coordinate and prepare Capital Project documentation (i.e. ROI, projections, etc) Cash Management and review of funding requirements from Owners Coordinate and liaise with internal, and external, auditors to ensure the Hotel is in compliance with Mandarin Oriental & GAAP standards. Ad-hoc projects, as requested by the General Manager or OwnershipProjects & Accomplishments Preparation of 2013 budget (while on task force in August 2012). This was a new 10 month format (revenue) as the Hotel tested the concept of closing during January & February, the slowest and most loss producing months. Additionally, major work was needed to bring the Resort’s Hyperion Reporting up to acceptable standards and balanced to the local GL System. The budget was submitted on-time to MOHG and ultimately approved in the October budget meetings. Successfully implemented a Checkbook Accounting system for all hotel departments to use when purchasing and/or requisitioning items. Consequently Hotel vendors were paid more timely and all accounts are in good standing. Monthly departmental expenses also stabilized as department heads are held accountable for each purchase they make.
