Lead the Me2B Alliance data integrity audits, supported standards development for websites and apps, released several influential reports about advertising data supply chains built within taxpayer funded school utility apps, and supported writing education materials to simplify complex privacy concerns.

Bodhi Tree is a 47-year-old bookstore based in Los Angeles with their digital home @ BodhiTree.com. After serving as one of Bodhi Tree's strategists for several years, I stepped in as COO, during an abrupt transitionary period, to lead the day to day operations. During the nearly 8 months of leading the business and traveling weekly between Austin and Los Angeles, I was lucky to work with a wonderful staff and admin team, and we were successful in finding and hiring a world-class CEO, making dozens of cost-cutting measures to extend the runway, and we dramatically improved the e-commerce conversion rate for all mobile devices through a strategic website revamp to remove 3rd-party iframes. I helped to onboard the new CEO as part of my final efforts with the transition. 📚

Co-founded and led the product development of the Phonebank.org open calling campaign app, identified and analyzed open government API’s, wrote all content, created all social media graphics, identified potential organizers and helped launch calling campaigns for clients.

Co-Founded and led product development for My Digital Manager, a researched-focused digital asset management platform built to give organizations the ability to privately manage large amounts of video, audio and other digital content.

While working at Link Strategies through several political cycles, I wrote numerous research books and memo's, conducted cutting-edge video research, and helped clients use digital strategies to further their goals. Some of the research I undertook included: a six month analysis of the New York City Comptroller's office looking for potential conflicts of interest or financial misdeeds, campaign finance research on Anthony Weiner that was cited as a reason for him dropping out of the 2009 Mayoral race, a research book on a nationwide property development company, a research book on a private multi-national corporation in order to determine future market strategies, and numerous research books on politicians and candidates for office.

After completing a nearly 500-page research book on Governor Rick Perry, I joined the Bill White campaign for Governor and officially held the role as director of New Media. While managing the day to day internet communication strategies, I also managed the statewide video tracking program of Rick Perry, and worked with a team of approximately half a dozen researchers to further the campaigns goals. During my tenure, I also conducted intensive analysis of tax returns and other financial documents from both Governor Rick Perry and former Houston Mayor Bill White.

While working for over a year and a half on Barack Obama's presidential campaign, I co-directed/directed new media operations in five primary states, including Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, North Carolina, and South Dakota and directed new media operations in the battleground state of Iowa during the general election. In this capacity, I worked with a team to develop cutting edge techniques and technologies to organize tens of thousands of volunteers, directed and shot videos that were viewed by hundreds of thousands of people, and developed and launched a research-based website, McCainvsIowa.com, that was copied by the Democratic National Committee in every battleground state.
