Zeeshan has a diverse background with broad experience in engineering and finance. He presently working as a Technical (Engineer) Analyst, responsible for economic regulation of Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu – Marafiq’s utilities operation related to water services (potable water, process water, seawater cooling, industrial wastewater, sanitary wastewater and irrigation/reclaimed water) with an annual revenue of approximately 2.6 billion Saudi Riyals ($693 million USD) and a total capital of approximately 20.7 billion Saudi Riyals ($5.5 billion USD). His role includes analyzing Marafiq’s CAPEX projects and investment plans, scrutinizing OPEX costs, determining Marafiq’s revenue requirements and assisting the Principle Regulator with determining the final user-end tariff.In his previous opportunity, Zeeshan was working for Applied Water Management (AWM), A Natural Systems Utilities Company, which was previously a subsidiary of American Water. During his tenure at AWM, Zeeshan had the opportunity to work extensively with designing water and wastewater treatment plants, distribution and collection systems, groundwater supply and treatment systems, reclaimed water and wastewater reuse systems, chemical feed systems and onsite hypochlorite generation systems. He assisted in preparing Comprehensive Planning Studies (CPS) for several water distribution systems including hydraulic modeling utilizing WaterGEMS. Zeeshan was the lead hydraulic modeler at AWM responsible for managing five (5) major US military bases distribution and collection system hydraulic models. He also had the opportunity to lead as a construction manager for water distribution system interconnection project for New Jersey American Water in Pedricktown, NJ (USA).
