I did the 10-week internship at Mamie Ruth and it was a blast! The day-to-day included helping with social media content, completing tasks for daily operations, etc. It was interesting to see all the behind-the-scenes planning that goes into running a growing clothing brand. In addition to that, as interns, we got to pitch a new idea that we wanted to see implemented and if the team liked it, we got to complete it. I pitched the idea of having a photo booth installation at Mess Hall Trucker hat bar which would drive more traffic into their stores through all the user-generated marketing that would come out of the photo booth. They loved the idea, so I made a wrap design, found a manufacturer, and the photobooth was installed at Mess Hall! In addition, I organized a Mess Hall video ad to announce the launch of the photobooth.

In this position, I worked with my intern lead to shoot, develop, and upload marketing materials for the resort. I communicated with managers and arranged times to shoot photos of rooms, spaces, and outdoor areas around the park. I would then edit photos, and organize and format them to be shared for future use. I created Facebook posts and stories on the Park's Facebook. Additionally, I worked with other interns to construct multiple pages on the website.
