Ze is an inspirational leader, passionate about the role of acoustics in improving the built environment and committed to sustainability as a fundamental principle of good design. A proven innovator, he relishes the interdisciplinary challenges of great architecture, always ready to break with convention in the quest for better answers. With an impressive track record with some of the country’s best companies, he founded MACH Acoustics in 2003, the fastest growing and certainly the coolest acoustic consultancy in the UK. His extensive successful project management skills compliment his specialist acoustic expertise, a combination that has seen MACH Acoustics win countless jobs with the nation’s largest contractors and most celebrated architects.Ze believes in lifelong education, a theme that enthuses the whole office. When he’s not on site, reviewing designs or grinding out paperwork, Ze finds the time to lecture on the MSc in Environmental Design and Facade Engineering courses at Bath University, deliver CPD events, and write papers. He spearheads MACH Acoustics’ investment in R&D, an enlightened philosophy that led to the invention of the NAT Vent Attenuator and he is funding a Knowledge Transfer Partnership to research noise in natural ventilation.Ze is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Bath, entitled "The Visualisation of Sound and Air in Low Carbon Buildings" - See more information below
