During the Development Program I trained through different departments of the Cementing PSL:1. Laboratory: Carried out tests to analyse the properties of the cement and ensure that the quality of the cement is up to standard for operation jobs.2. Bulk Plant: Operated pneumatic systems to allow the mixing of cement and additives. In addition, I also assisted with the weighing up and preparation process of chemicals before going out for jobs.3. Operations: Maintained and prepared the cementing, pumping and mixing equipment before going out for jobs.

Worked collaboratively within a team, as part of the Continuous Improvement department at Otter Controls.Independently investigated and proposed innovative process improvements for the machines and protocols within the factory. These solutions were successfully implemented.Thoroughly analysed relevant industry standards and specifications (ISO 9001 & ISO 14000), to ensure current processes complied accordingly.Lead, managed and organised a project aiming to improve yield percentages and reduce downtime on an assembling machine, through effective prioritisation and time management.By identifying factors affecting the precision of production, yield percentages were improved (by up-to 30%) in certain products.Using Minitab software, designed experiments to predict the accuracy of tooling before running the job, preventing yield losses and encouraging right-first-time approach.Completed a Six Sigma - Advanced Green Belt training programme held by the Manufacturing Institute in the United Kingdom.

Closely reviewed MEP project specifications, 2D design and construction drawings, site installations.Directly involved in site inspections / site tours, to review MEP installations and its interfaces with other trades.
