Better together. I believe in the power of community in moving us forward for a better future. We should take a leaf from nature: observing its symbolic relationship which teachers us cooperation and that we are all connected.I am a trained and qualified lawyer knee deep in the climate and environment sector. My pivot from traditional law into climate and environmental advocacy was inspired by my passion for the natural world, and I have since worked as a researcher and consultant for a number of development institutions. Here, I have lent my support to documentation, strategic communication, report writing and capacity building focused on educating and promoting inclusive, diverse and gender responsive approaches to climate action. Moreover, I have a keen interest in integrating this approach for natural resource management, land governance and community engagement.Currently, at Sisters in Climate, a PanAfrican ecofeminist community that encourages and facilitates different convergence points for African women to share and learn about climate adaptation and sustainable futures.
