Building on this experience, he was appointed in 2023 as a member of the Metro Council District 15 Metro Youth Cabinet, where he plays a critical role in recommending legislative priorities and appropriations to the Metro Council and the Mayor’s Office. In 2024, Mayor Greenberg appointed Zion to the Urban Services District Board, further expanding his influence and capacity to advocate for community needs.
