I conducted an individual project focused on time series analysis of harmful algal blooms using Python and R. My project involved utilizing statistical methods, such as ARIMA and GLM models, to analyze time series data, as well as exploring other techniques, such as change-point detection and wavelet analysis.Specifically, my role included:- Preprocessing and cleaning of large datasets, including data normalization, filtering, and outlier detection.- Developing and implementing statistical models for analyzing time series data, including ARIMA and GLM models.- Exploring other methods for time series analysis, such as change-point detection and wavelet analysis, to gain a deeper understanding of the data.- Collaborating with my supervisor to identify and address challenges in the data and modeling processes.
