About Zahra M.

I work at Auckland Transport from December 2017 as Computer Vision Specialist. I also completed my PhD degree in School of Engineering, Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in June 2020. My job aligns with my qualification; both relate to analysing the traffic videos for the purpose of safety of the users, using solely computer vision techniques through CNN approaches. Before starting my PhD, I was a computer engineer at PayaSoft, dealing with OCR technology.I have got a bachelor in IT and Master of Computer Science in 2010 and 2013, respectively. From June 2011 to January 2013, I was the research assistant, working on the area of information hiding in compressed domains mainly JPEG.If you’d like to learn more about what I am doing, please reach out via email (moayed135@gmail.com).
