I am a passionate, highly driven person who cares deeply about people, the environment, and health. I am in pursuit of a more sustainable and equitable future for all. My focus is doing that through environmental science and conservation. Professionally interested in the intersection of science, community engagement, and strategic planning. I enjoy working in dynamic, diverse environments to co-create solutions to complex problems. I have worked in the United States, Mexico, Kenya, and Norway. I enjoy the complex nature of international conservation work. Below you can read some of my professions highlights. Excited to connect with you and see what we can make happen together!PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS• Created a zoning map, using ArcGIS for a community based management plan for Laguna La Cruz, Sonora, Mexico; a Ramsar designated Estuary. Management has been submitted by CONAP.• Designed and completed a pollination study on Echinocereus grandis, an endemic cactus found only on three islands in the Midriff Islands, Mexico.• Worked as a Wildland Firefighter for one season with an Americorps fuel crew and three seasons with the US Forest Service. Through this work gaining leadership experience, managing personal in high risk situations, practice making decisions quickly under pressure, and in the field experience of collecting environmental data to inform decisions.• Working at Rippleffect and in rock gyms, gained experience in curriculum design, teaching adult and youth programs, customer service, leading people in back country settings, and Rockgym Pro software use.• In Kenya, worked in schools to help with their donor program, specifically create marketing media to attract donors for the schools and organizing their priorities.• Worked collaboratively on two technical reports which involved an extensive literature review and conducted many interviews in the community to characterize the small scale fisheries industry in Kino Bay and the aquaculture industry.
