Experienced in all forms of trade mark and associated intellectual property work having worked as a trade mark lawyer in New Zealand since 2015. Prior to this I worked in trade marks in the United Kingdom, and as a trade mark examiner at the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand.I provide strategic legal advice to help client’s secure and enforce trade mark rights around the world with a particular focus on New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific Islands. My experience covers the full range of trade mark work from initial searching and clearance, trade mark prosecution, trade mark portfolio management, trade mark strategy, negotiation of settlements and agreements, and advice on opposition and infringement matters.I work with clients from a wide range of industries including fast moving consumer goods, technology companies, fashion and retail, pharmaceuticals, electricity and gas, food and beverage, sporting goods, and security products.I work collaboratively with my colleagues and clients, and love to get a great result for clients in difficult matters.
