• Responsible for testing and implementing the latest patches/upgrades for Oracle E business suite across all functions; Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Accounts payables, Accounts Receivables and I-expenses • Support Management in the provision of business readiness activities such as training and contributing to stakeholder plans• Working with business change community providing the input criteria for projects• Providing post/live support on projects • Provide business input to business analysis, requirements gathering, testing and implementation on a wide range of projects with external stakeholders• Reviewing processes within finance division to gather data to implement lean workflow• Daily support to business for Oracle E Business Suite, Core Systems, External third party banking facilities and general Admin on Financial systems (YBS internal systems)• Understand business and technical issues and impacts regarding proposed change. My role is to support the current charity which is ‘End Youth Homelessness’, for organising market strategies within the group to raise money to support the charity. I work as an ambassador alongside management within the Charity Partnership to promote raising awareness. This involves preparing extensive meetings and workshops with colleagues and external sources, putting together marketing documents and sharing my experience to others within the group.

Responsible for carrying out full risk assessments and making appropriate and fair lending decisions, demonstrating in depth knowledge of the Groups lending principles and cascading case work across my department to meet SLA requirements. • Providing accurate guidance and feedback to the intermediaries who work alongside the group, communicating complex information clearly and simply, providing full rationale and justification for the lending decision to external and internal customers• Carrying out external research for best practice tools to support customer profiles such as manual credit searches, surveyor data and fraud systems (Hunter/CIFAS)• Complaint handling, ensuring complaints are dealt with effectively, timely and within regulatory requirements• Establishing, building and maintaining professional relationships with external contacts to enhance the Yorkshire Building Society • Compressing data with knowledge of Microsoft by spreadsheets in bulk by using a range of different spreadsheet functionalities• Coach and mentoring underwriters to make the most appropriate lending decision within group lending policy and guidelines including lending rationale that ensures a lending decision is clear• Manual calculations carried out to ensure YBS regulations are met in line with borrowing structure.• Identifying and improving service improvements within the department to make the way we do business easy and simple• Daily communication with internal colleagues/stakeholders and customers to ensure SLA agreements are met

Key responsibilities included implementing training documents and preparing presentations on new processes to new colleagues supporting and guiding them through the colleague framework to become successful in their role and providing professional advice on a variety of topics surrounding the FCA regulations. This included travelling to different centres within the UK implementing training documents and highlighting development areas promoting the success of the new starter Academy throughout the company by supporting marketing. I did this by providing essential training and coaching, handling escalated queries, and sample checking work to ensure company procedures were being followed
