Project title: Food insecurity and health in the first 1,001 daysA collaboration with Lambeth Council's new NIHR-funded HDRC (Health Determinants Research Collaborations centre)

My position as a research associate involves directing a portfolio of work focused on maternal health and nutrition; including both quantitative and qualitative studies. The breadth of research aims to improve our understanding of maternal health and nutrition and interventions that improve outcomes for women before and during pregnancy.

Active committee member on the Research and Scientific Advisory Committee. Responsibilities include liaising with the Communication, Partnerships and Networks Committee, co-organising the ASO's flagship national conference, UK Congress on Obesity.

Excellent analytical skills including problem-solving and critical, strategic, innovative thinking.* Oral and written communication of research findings and knowledge; evidenced by track record of deliverables to a range of audiences including academic, health professionals, local authority staff, council electives and members of the public.
