With over four years of experience as a learning designer and instructor, I am passionate about creating immersive and engaging STEM learning experiences for the next generation. Currently I am the Instructional and Interactive learning designer at Zen Maker Lab developing STEM curriculums for kids all across the lower mainland of Vancouver as well as private programs.I have a unique combination of skills and credentials in UX, AR, app design, and 3D Unity development, which I leverage to design and develop innovative and impactful curriculum and products for kids. Some of my notable achievements include developing the first app making coding course for kids in Toronto using MIT app Inventor, designing and developing an AR app to help kids work through their difficult emotions using Unity3D, and publishing a research paper in the ACM journal and winning an NSERC award for designing critical reflection cards. I am always eager to learn new technologies and methods to enhance my practice and deliver value to my learners and clients.

Highlights:Created over 300 wireframes using Figma and the Adobe Suite to design and print the cards which won the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) Undergraduate student research award. Published a research paper in the Association for Computer Machinery (ACM) Journal and presented findings at the Interaction Design and Children (IDC) conference. -
