Unlike traditional models of distribution, where people are given aid parcels, Dignity Centre members can choose food, hygiene products and/or clothes via our pioneering ‘free shop’ system. Members can also access practical support, such as an admin helpdesk and signposting to other services. All Centres are designed to facilitate choice and active engagement. This unique combination of material support in a community space offers stability, routine and a sense of normality. Impact Boscombe is a Charitable Trust founded by Zoe Keeping in October 2022. Rock the Bump is a bespoke pregnant belly casting studio based in Bournemouth, Dorset founded in March 2015. Community Engagement FacilitatorI am employed by C3 Collaborating for Health, a small global charity that partners with communities to improve local health. In 2020 C3 worked with 13 community members to collect data and develop an action plan of priorities for Boscombe residents. My role now is to work as a key point of contact in the community for the implementation of the Boscombe Community Action Plan. In June 2022 BCP Community Action Network commissioned C3 to carry out community engagement in relation to plans for a new Wellbeing Hub in Boscombe funded by NHS England.

- Working as part of a team of Parent Services Administrators co-ordinating bookings for parents enquiring about NCT courses.- Liaising between Parents Services Operations, Branches, NCT Practitioners, NCT Finance, and parents to maintain positive working relationships and provide the best service possible to NCT clients.

- Line management and day-to-day support of a team of twelve advisers working in officers across the UK.- Delivery of a government funded project to prevent the number of homeowners losing their homes through mortgage repossession in England and Wales. Responsible for performance management, monitoring and monthly reporting to ensure targets were being met.- Provision of housing advice outreach services at local daycentre for street homeless people and HMP Dorchester.- Developing and delivering training and presentations on homelessness and housing related issues to a wide range of audiences including local authority housing officers, voluntary sector support workers and service users.- Managing a varied caseload delivering specialist advice to agencies and individuals across Dorset dealing with a wide range of issues.- Defending landlord possession actions in order to prevent homelessness and advocating on behalf of clients who are homeless and need of support to challenge local authority decisions regarding legal duties and responsibilities.- Working in a Shelter Advice Centre providing a free, confidential and impartial housing advice and casework service to members of the public as well as second tier advice to agencies across Dorset. - Active involvement in development and policy based work including having spent twelve months developing a specific post to work with local agencies to move towards a more co-ordinated approach in assessing need, and providing comprehensive services for street homeless people in the Bournemouth area.- Partnership working with voluntary and statutory organisations to raise the profile of housing and homelessness issues both at a local and national level with an aim to develop and deliver solutions to prevent homelessness.

- Working in a multi-agency drop in centre delivering advice, support and guidance to young people in housing need.- Development and delivery of a thirteen week volunteer training programme.
